Consent for SMS Communication
By providing your consent to receive SMS communications, you acknowledge and agree to receive text messages from Advanced Surgeons, PC at 205-595-8985. Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties.
- Program description: This Text Messages Terms of Service applies when you give prior express consent to receive text messages from us. You will only receive text messages to confirm your appointment or to ask for a review of our care.
- Frequency: You will receive text messages prior to your appointment to assist with confirmation and arrival time as well as a survey of the care provided to you. Our SMS message frequency is estimated to be 0 – 30 text messages daily across all users.
- Opt-In Method: Patients may opt-in for SMS messaging from Advanced Surgeons, PC by signing our Text Messaging Consent Form. This consent agreement will not be shared with third parties and affiliates for marketing purposes. No SMS communication will be initiated without customer consent.
- Opt-out Method: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just reply back with STOP. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. You may also request that we stop messaging by calling 205-595-8985.
- Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by calling 205-595-8985. We are available 8:30AM to 4:00PM Central Time, Monday through Friday.
- Interruption: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Cost: As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
